Tiles
Alberta Tile Arts provides tile solutions anywhere quality is needed. With the ability to be both modern and classic, tile or stone flooring really makes a statement. Our Process
Setup
Prepare the work area, remove existing flooring, clear installation area of all furniture and fragile items. If you’re planning to re-paint the room, or wallpaper, or any other remodeling work in the room, its best to do before the tile is installed.
Install
First, the subfloor is prepared, then the tile layout is determined and thinset mortar is spread and the tiles placed. Spacers are used between tiles so that they are evenly placed. After the mortar sets, grout is applied — sometimes the next day.
Enjoy!
Tiles are carefully cleaned, ridding them of all grout. Once complete, it’s necessary to stay off the floor for 24 – 48 hours, depending on the size of the room and how much traffic is expected to walk on it. After its finished, enjoy your new tiles!

Glass TIles
Alberta Tile Arts works with glass tiles in a beautiful way to get a modern, expensive look–at an affordable price. Glass tiles are a unique way of making a backsplash, bathroom, or kitchen have a glistening shine. Glass is water resistant and its smooth surface helps to repel other substances including food particles and dirt, so its very easy to clean. Glass tiles are the perfect solution for areas that are likely to get wet. Mold & mildew can’t build up on the surface of the glass and are less likely to show up in the space between tiles. Shower Systems

Schluter Systems
We use top quality Schluter products and shower systems, and a complete waterproofing system for maintenance-free tiled showers. These help ensure success by eliminating the risk of failures due to water penetration. Once tiles are installed over the shower system, a hygienic, durable tiled shower is the result.
In-Floor Heat
In floor heat systems are the ultimate form of home comfort – imagine stepping bare foot onto a toasty warm tile surface right after jumping out of the shower. The floor radiates heat to your feet, warming you all over. Alberta Tile Arts can set up and install luxurious in floor heat to complete your perfect room. Our preferred method of in floor heat installation uses the proven technology of Ditra uncoupling membrane incorporated in the design, providing the ideal solution for bringing comfort and floor warming to any tiled floor.
